What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a gentle, non-invasive and natural form of medicine that takes every aspect of the patient into account - it considers all physical and emotional symptoms as part of a whole, rather than a series of different complaints.
The homeopathic remedies stimulate the body’s self-healing system and aims to restore health in a gentle and permanent way.
How can Homeopathy benefit you?
Homeopathy can be effective for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions including digestive disorders, hormonal conditions, respiratory conditions, skin problems, musculo-skeletal problems, and emotional issues.
The homeopathic remedies are safe, with no side effects and non-toxic making them ideal for everyone including pregnant women, babies and children.
I see all sorts of people - from babies to the elderly and everyone in between. Since everybody is different, the homeopathic treatment will target your specific needs and every consultation is unique to you. In my practice I use a combination of constitutional remedies, organ support and therapeutic homeopathic remedies which all contribute to making you feel yourself again.
Homeopathy is perfect for all sorts of children’s physical problems - poor immunity, colic, sleep and digestion problems as well as emotional or behaviour issues like ADD or anxiety.
Homeopathy for everyone
I am a fully qualified homeopath practising in Maida Vale (London W9), Clapham (SW4). I also offer online consultations.
I come from a long line of homeopaths, my grandfather and great-grandfather both practiced homeopathy in Germany. Before becoming a homeopath myself I worked as a graphic designer for more than 20 years. When my baby daughter was diagnosed with severe eczema and allergies, the conventional treatments didn’t alleviate all her symptoms. I then turned to homeopathy which resulted in a dramatic improvement and which inspired me to become a homeopath myself. I graduated as a homeopath in 2008 with a BSc(Hons) from The Center for Homeopathic Education, followed by an Advanced Diploma from Orion Homeopathic Training.
In my practice I see people of all ages and backgrounds with a wide variety of conditions and I have a particular interest in the treatment of women and children. In addition to my practice I give regular talks on various aspects of health and wellbeing.
As a native French speaker, I can also offer consultations in French.
I am fully insured and registered with the Complimentary Medical Association (CMA).
During your initial consultation, you will have time to describe your symptoms in depth and ask questions (everything you say is confidential). At the end of the consultation, you will be given the prescribed remedies to take away with you.
Follow-up consultations, which are shorter, allow for the patient's progress to be assessed and remedies adjusted.
Online consultations are available.
Frequency of consultations
The number of consultations required is dependant on the patient's condition, and varies from person to person.
Most acute complaints can clear up quickly, while other conditions can be more complex and take longer to resolve. This can be discussed with me at the first consultation.
